Pitchapuk Malone ピチャパク・マローン I finally got time to watch recored tv shows, one of them was 'street teacher'
It tells a story of a young teacher, Kru Nang, that supports street children by giving them education (on street) , the necessities of life (from toothpaste to food ) , encourage them to get an id card so that they can get a job, ect... She often head to the street, talk to the children, sometime she would accompany them to their family because some of them were abandoned, not always wanted. Its such a sad reality. The scene I remember clearly is when this boy met his dad, and asking him if he could stay with him, but the father would say no. Saying there's no space. For me its just a lame excuse. The second time they met, he was even colder. it just breaks my heart to watch.
Not all the children behaves. Most of them do drugs and dont really think/care about their life. But is it all their fault? If you ask me, I strongly believe that the environment has great effect. Giving up on children is simply unacceptable. Watching this documentary made me feel that i have to somehow contribute to the society too.
Mercy Center is a place where Kru Nang is working, they have been doing so much for the street children, HIV patients(mothers&children) providing them a place to stay and education they need.
Its an amazing organization, please go visit if you have an oportunity.
Love
May
